Information

Road traffic regulations

All bicycles that are permissible in accordance with traffic regulations (road bikes, mountain bikes etc.) are allowed. Austrian road traffic regulations apply to all participants, the route is not closed off. Participants must wear a helmet and ride at their own risk. With their registration, participants confirm that they have third-party liability and accident insurance. Parents are responsible for their children.

Liability

The organisers, promoters and sponsors accept no liability for damages or injuries suffered by the participants. With his/her registration, the participant accepts liability for any risks to themselves and their property which result from participation in the event, and commits to refrain from making any claims against people, institutions or companies who hold or held the events.

Important for participants

As the negligent cycling habit causes increasing problems, more and more race organiser decide to apply sanctions. For example passing the pavement or avoid a roundabout to the left is disqualification.

All participants must be informed about the course, the road condition, the dangerous areas, etc. and it is necessary to visit the route of the race in advance. All references on our website, announcements, etc. are just additional information for the participants. Along the routes there are repeated road bumps and damages in the asphalt surface. All participants must adjust their speed according to the road conditions. Particularly at the numerous departures caution is required.

Participants who do not reach the finish in Imst until 4.00 pm, will be excluded from the rating without exception because of safety reasons. The organiser has the right to change or shorten the route, or modify the time limit in case of bad weather or unexpected incidents.
